Ok, so I would rather spend my days weaving and playing in fiber than taking pictures, uploading them, and then posting. That said, I do like sharing my new creations! Here are some recent weaves:
This one is made with black & white Berroco Gem for the warp – a poly/acrylic blend with glitter and a variegated rayon chenille for the weft. Super soft! I crocheted the flower for kicks and it really sets the whole thing off nicely.
It is amazing to me how such seemingly disparate yarns can be used in weaving and the final product comes out beautifully.
Had fun with my new fringe twister on this one! Bright colors of worsted weight cottons for warp, heavy cotton chenille in dark blue for weft. Fun!
And here is a less than stellar picture of all my recent scarves! I have a show coming up the second Saturday in November and I hope to sell many of them for Christmas gifts!
