I’ve been thinking about love and all the bible talks about what love is.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but refoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends…So now faith hope and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
– I Corinthians 13:4-8, 13
This week, after several weeks of clearing out and reorganizing my “stuff,” I was ready to create something! But I also wanted rather instant gratification. So instead of going for quilting, I went to my jewelry supplies.
Keeping the idea of love in mine, I found these hand stamped tags in my stash. Also, I used pieces of other old necklaces to create this piece. If you have been a reader for a while, you know that I love reusing and refashioning old things into useful things – even jewelry!
It is amazing what a few jump rings, some trinkets, and a little playfulness will create!
Be glad in today – it is yours!
