I haven’t done much quilting with solids or semi-solid colors, so I decided to cut my batik hand dyed fabric into 4″ squares & start playing.
I did half square triangles first. Here is some of the fun I had rearranging them:
After that, I was kinda bored with the same-ness of the blocks. So in my own artistic way, I began sewing the scraps (left over from cutting the blocks) into blocks & rows adding piping and pompoms and this is where I am today:
