After some inspiration from my swap partner, Miki, I was able to complete the quilting on the Kandinsky Circles for the 15 minutes of Play Solid Swap Challenge! I wanted to keep with the circles idea, but didn’t want the quilting to just be well, boring.
So I did semi-oblong circles that touch in places to give me crescent moon shapes to then stipple quilt within. Tiny stipple quilting, mind you. It was great fun to do and I like the final effect!
Since I couldn’t figure out what to put on the back, I pieced some hand dyed squares. With the circle quilting it looks pretty neat! Now all I have to do is the binding!
