I’ve been working with scraps, made fabric and liberated ideas and some colors I like but don’t usually use. The result? Eight place mats that form a unique set!
The place mat above is quilted with a hand quilting look-a-like stitch on my new Bernina. Pretty cool, eh? It features made fabric as do these additional 3 mats.

The last 4 are just pieced with large leftovers. These are actually the ideas I started with before adding the made fabric goodies.

I placed them on the table and each family member commented on the “cool” new place mats. Yay!
