Coffee beans anyone?
I’ve been sewing for my own closet lately. I find it incredibly boring to make everything out of muslin first; so I decided to use some quilting fabric that keeps getting passed over for quilts!
This is Burda 117 from the Oct 2013 issue of the magazine. It’s shown in a solid color, but I thought it could be more interesting. And I didn’t have enough of any one rejected quilt fabric to do it completely solid.
This is the pattern lengthened 2″ which is standard for me. Overall I like the way it fits. Once I figured out how to find the pattern on the sheet and then trace Burda patterns with seam allowance they fit well.
I made another one in a holiday fabric – you’ll see it next time : )
