While this is the second time I’ve made this dress, this is probably the first time I’ve thought about getting a picture of me actually wearing it!
It is Vogue 1312 by Lynn Mizono; came out last fall.
I love, love, love this dress!
I did do a few alterations including narrowing the bodice center by removing about 2″. My shoulders are just not that wide, and the pattern has a super scoop neck going way out onto the shoulders.
I also had to actually shorten it a bit! I am 5’10” with a 34″ inseam so this is something I never have to do to patterns. So not wanting to shorten before sewing, I sewed the entire dress, put it on, and was walking on it! So it got folded and cut at the hem – about 5″ across the whole thing. You can still see the point nearly hits the ground in the above pic.
